Analytical automation

The barefoot biogeochemistry group has developed a range analytical automation techniques that has enabled high resolution sampling in the field. Our motto of taking the lab to the field has provided some unique insights into a number of environmental issues. We have used analytical automation to investigate fugitive emissions from unconventional gas development, quantification of groundwater-surface water interaction, coral reef carbonate chemistry, and greenhouse gas dynamics in aquatic systems.
